Inkjet print photograph digitally assembled from hundreds of fragmented photographs created from a single position on a busy city street, without the lateral repositioning of source imagery. Drawing on the operating model of people-watching, coherent subjects throughout the piece are haltingly legible from fragments of surface information, which slows the reading of the work by forcing an oscillation of attention from one fragmentary representation to another.
